Chimmi Changa's

MURAL

Chimmi Changa's is a Burrito Bar in South Hurstville. ar–chive was commissioned to create a mural for the front room that was inspired by the Day of the Dead. We chose to highlight papel picado - colourful cut-out tissue paper banners that drape across Day of the Dead altars and are displayed across alleyways and homes in Mexico during the holidays. The colours we selected are reminiscent of these banners, vibrant in celebration and inviting.
